Galilee Evangelical Baptist Church
GALILEE EVANGELICAL BAPTIST CHURCH is located in a low living standard ward,Wakhin, Insein Township, Yangon, Myanmar. In 2002, the Church was founded with 50 households convert and began to preach the Good News(Evangelical); by preaching, reciting the scripture, confession, and prayers, those who the buddhists paralyzed recovered, the sick healed, AIDS cured. God's amazing power touched the heart of unbelievers in many ways.
On every Sunday, we teaches the Bible to kids and having table fellowship with household convert after church service.In 2005,the role of the Church(without building) had to change to stand as a church with believers families (about 60 believers). Worship service held in a rental house.In 2007 God gave us the land there to lay Church building. We still faced several difficulties. In 2008 in the church we held worship service with over 50 believers(15 households). On that time, we were facing harshly blames from unbelievers.
We thank to God for leading us over 10 years.It's the Church of believers who converted from buddhism. The convert are very few,though, they are 25 families of 300 unbelievers families. We're working hard in order that they(unbelievers) would believe the Savior JESUS. Until today, we still face some hindrances from a few neighbors and Ward authority.
Galilee Evangelical Baptist Church is not only the Church but is Training Center; unauthorized under any churches or sponsorship but Faith in God alone. The Church stands only by Faith. After 2015, God uses the Church ministry of evangelism more effectively reaching out as far as nationwide. Glory be to God forever.
Life to Life Discipleship Training is the one most important aspect of our ministries there we nurture and teach youths from nationwide; they're also allowed to join Government School.We don't request money from them or their parents. Without paying any cost, but by Faith in God alone this Life to Life Discipleship Training stands until today and will stand still in the future only by Faith in God alone. The Church and Life to Life Training are the two-twisted ministry in one direction for God.
